So who is the last Jedi?  Will it be Luke who was handed his light saber by
Rey or will it be someone else?  I don't think that it was demostrated that
Rey had "The Force" and could be a Jedi.  Also with the death of Carrie Fisher
it is doubtful that Leia is the last Jedi.  Disney has announced that they
will not CGI her image in future Star Wars film.

If Luke is not the last Jedi then his character will die in the next film.
Even Mark Hamill does not know.  Hamill said "don't tell me these things I talk
in my sleep."  "They have us so jacked up with paranoia over leaks."

Fisher was returning from filming her role in the next Star Wars film now known
as Episode VIII, The Last Jedi when she had her heart attack and later
passed away.
