It looks like Kilmer took a hiatus from films in 2015, 2016 and 2018, probably
because of (rumored) throat cancer.  I was unaware of that.  The last one I
saw him in was Spartan (2004).  That same year he was in Oliver Stone's
Alexander. which I refused to watch beyond 15 minutes because it didn't fit
with the image of Alexander the Great from the public library history books I
read back when I was high school.  The one that was the closest (give or take)
was Robert Rossen's Alexander the Great (1956).
