This is       not a political issue, partisan or otherwise, it is an issue of       international trade.              To answer your question; Governments are involved in many things       which have nothing to do with politics. An example of that it the       humanitarian operation, involving the military DART team, which       our federal government is presently running in The Philippines.              My question, as rephrased, still stands.
