7% best in the G7 or tied for it. I recently turned down a 6 month
contract and am currently half way through a one month commitment to
work. I am registered with 4 temp agencies and I have to turn down work
offers when I am already committed to working with one. Anecdotaly
speaking my employer has 37 temps scheduled for the morning shift at the
warehouse and there are always no shows.

What federal govt doesn't have squabbles with the provinces? Liberals
almost had Quebec secede under their govts.
   > - Spying scandals involving foreign governments

Not good but hardly an overwhelming reason to change govts. Its not like
Brazil will refuse to sell us its chicken wings.
   > - And, overall, his government's falling numbers in the polls

Sure the polls show the Conservatives to be second but they have a good
campaign chest far better than their opponents and they are experienced
   campaigners.

I'm happy. As for Ukraine there are lots of Cdns of Ukranian descent who
still care about the home country.
