I don't have to 'project' on this issue of you hating cops, Schild. All
I have to do is read your repeat postings on the subject to see the
   disrespect you have for police.

The media didn't do any criticizing of the OPP. They reported on those
   who DID criticize the OPP.
Most of them are rightwing idiots who support the likes of Hudak.

I think the police in Moncton should have had the right to investigate
someone like Bourke who openly made comments about his guns and promoted
the right to use force against police if someone ever threatened his
self-declared rights to own and carry and use his firearms. The guy was
no different than many gun nuts we've seen posting on these newsgroups -
espousing the same rhetoric. If police had been able to relieve Bourke
of his weapons because of his penchant for firearms and their illegal
use, three cops would likely have gone home to their families that night.

We've got enough idiots in Canada that wish death on others, that we
don't need to have them armed with guns.
If a man beats his wife or threatens her with death, his firearms are
GONE. Police would investigate and confiscate them.
If a punk like Bourke promotes the killing of any police or government
authority that would take away his weapons, he needs to have those
   weapons GONE.

Enough of this 'letting physical threats and intimidations go
unchallenged' just because they're just the rantings on usenet or
facebook or twitter. A threat is a threat.
