i wrote a bash script for generating a nice msgarea.ctl file, but it was only
because my rexx knowledge is rusty, i think there are some small utilities
which can synchronize maximus with a backbone.na... i don't remember, but
maybe AMU ?

it can read squish format natively, so no problem should occur.
