tried to get Maximus up
and running again. I found the DOS and OS/2 3.0 versions, but I couldn't find a
 way to run them on a modern PC with telnet access. Sure I can run Maximus
single node in DosBox and it runs just fine, but running multinode was out of
the question, plus I wanted to get back on Fidonet too, and for that I would
have needed BinkleyTerm. Well, to make a long story short, I ended up
installing Synchronet with binkd under Windows 7. Now I am here.

So, where am I going with this? I am hoping to find some folks out there who
would like to see Maximus running on modern computers with telnet access,
perhaps even with an updated version of BinkleyTerm and Squish.

So, if you're out there, let's do this thing.
