Never heard of those progs.  For me, I'm sticking with iTunes.  
I can maintain a nice AppleLosses version (comparable to FLAC)  
as a reference and simply convert to a good quality mp3 when  
required.

I also use dbPoweramp or AnyConverter. They both do a great job  
converting between formats.

BTW.. has anyone here messed around with VBR mp3?
