I had the top marks in French in high school! ;) ..but I never quite mastered conversational french. WvV> I think it's about a woman who is love sick. Noted. AA>> I did not care too much for Anneke van Giersbergen - Jest Oldu AA>> too much. That voice was a bit too screetchy for me. WvV> It was better with the original video from the show where you could see WvV> the emotions of the people but that unfortunatly got blocked, because of WvV> a copyright claim by the original composer... I saved it so, if you... WvV> ;) Sure! You know what to do. ;) WvV> Anneke is our grand lady of Rock, although she would probably be WvV> offended by that title. ;-) WvV> She was the inspiration for Floor Jansen to go in the same musical WvV> direction. Ah.. interesting. WvV> Check out this one from the 25 anniversary concert with her original WvV> band: WvV> https://youtu.be/Y46Lft_BZxo OK.. a lil'bit better. But the music was a more significant element. She spent a lot of time just seemingly brooding over the music as the musicians were playing. WvV> Or this duet: WvV> https://youtu.be/ScjEJRIZGvg WvV> And tell me you still don't like her singing? ;-) Ah.. definately a song about 2 love-sick or love-smitten females? I'm still not quite convinced that she is a great singer. She definitely has talent and conviction, but.. something is still missing. One Canadian rock/pop singer that made a fairly big splash during the last 80's is Luba. The voice is baritone, but powerful. Check out this live performance of one her hits: https://youtu.be/zKr5-LWTU4o I'll have to did up some other fine female singers that you may not have heard but might enjoy. -- ../|ug --- OpenXP 5.0.50 * Origin: Got mobile?
