Noted. Luba clearly wasn't the best challenge/comparison with  
your Anneke. :(  But I was primarily highlighting the  
performers ability to deliver a piece with emotion. I thought  
the melody was pretty darn good too.

Does you Anneke write music too? ..or is she just an  
interpretive singer?

I'll try to come up with alternative suggestions (comparing to  
Anneke)  ..a bit later.  Meanwhile, check out Sarah Brightman's  
inter interpretations of:

  Dust in the Wind
  A Whiter Shade of Pale
  Captain Nemo
  Deliver Me

The musical arrangements are powerful (great drums and beats!)  
in some of them.

Brightman is clearly not a "rock" voice, but the recordings are  
a pretty cool package as a whole.
