I'd heard about the loudness wars affecting "remasters" -- I've compared post-2000s remasters with originals and been left wanting. I didn't think they'd try to scrimp on audio quality on vinyl, which is most likely going to be listened to by an audiophile. I tried explaining to my daughter who grew up with streaming that we used to have to wait until a song came on the radio then hold the tape recorder up to the speaker to tape Your Favorite Song. :) --- MultiMail/Win v0.52 * Origin: http://realitycheckbbs.org | tomorrow's retro tech (1:218/700) SEEN-BY: 10/0 1 105/81 106/201 124/5016 128/187 129/14 305 153/7715 SEEN-BY: 154/110 218/0 1 700 226/30 227/114 229/110 112 134 206 300 SEEN-BY: 229/307 317 400 426 428 470 664 700 705 291/111 292/854 320/219 SEEN-BY: 322/757 396/45 633/280 712/848 902/26 2320/105 5075/35 PATH: 218/700 229/426 |
