it looks like mystic is capable of finding python on it's own too. what the
site doesn't say is the priority it places on which version.

what i will say is:

 cr> mystic_error: This Python has API version 1013, module mystic_error has
 cr> version 2127954933

1013 looks like a python 2 version # and the other number looks like it might
be an incorrectly printed/handled python3 version #

perhaps put something in the python3 file box as well, something bogus to
maybe keep mystic from finding the installed version of python3?
