On 01 Oct 15 23:25:50, Wilfred Van Velzen said the following to Nick Andre: WV> WV>> How about D'Bridge adding a TZUTC kludge to messages it generates? WV> WV>> Should b easy enough to implement!? WV> WV> NA> Noted. WV> WV> Seriously, why wouldn't you implement it? I never said I wouldn't. I noted the request. Somewhere between a magical mystical sexy fancy Linux version and support for Squish/JAM/Synchronet/Wildcat/Whatever I'll add something for this. Possibly just code for the editor to add whatever user-defined kludges defined. WV> So I was going through some areas to look at the usage of the TZUTC flag, a WV> was surprised how little it is used. You have to remember that a lot of Fido products were written during a time when Echomail was really becoming popular and programmers could not necessarily agree on what kludges to implement as standard. A lot of software really implemented what was "required" and not proposals. INTL and FMPT/TOPT come to mind... I'm sure theres others.
