   ROCKY MOUNT, N.C. (WITN) - A second parent has been charged in   
   the death of a 2-month-old infant in Rocky Mount.   
      
   Police say on Tuesday they charged Keyona Mercer with first   
   degree murder and felony obstruction.   
      
   The 22-year-old Mercer was the mother of Kaleb Whitehead who was   
   found dead on August 12th at a home on Sled Court.   
      
   Last week, police charged the father, Kahlid Whitehead, with   
   murder after an autopsy said the infant died from abusive head   
   trauma.   
      
   Both parents are being held without bond on the murder charges.   
      
   The infant was laid to rest on Friday.
