   Alexandria Ocasio Cortez (AOC) won in New York’s 14th   
   Congressional District under a slogan of “Socialism Will Win,”   
   despite socialism having failed everywhere it has been tried.   
   The fact that she won despite record setting employment and   
   unemployment numbers, a dynamic GDP, rising wages and a strong   
   and resilient stock market, should tell us something about New   
   York voters in the 14th CD.   
      
   AOC wants to eliminate the Electoral College. “It is well past   
   time we eliminate the Electoral College, a shadow of slavery’s   
   power on America today that undermines our nation as a   
   democratic republic,” she tweeted. What does the Electoral   
   College have to do with slavery? Or more to the point, as the   
   National Black Republican Association proclaimed, “The   
   Republican Party is the party of civil rights and the four F’s:   
   faith, family, freedom and fairness. The Democratic Party is the   
   party of the four S’s: slavery, secession, segregation, and   
   socialism.”   
      
   She tweeted on another occasion, “The actual fear driving the   
   attacks on my clothes, my checking account, my rent, isn’t that   
   these folks are scared that I shouldn’t represent people in   
   Congress . . . It’s fear that they’ve allowed their riches,   
   their privilege, + their bias to put them to a point where they   
   can’t.” Can someone diagram these sentences? Can someone please   
   decipher these sentences?   
      
   Upon losing the Amazon headquarters, $27 billion in taxes and 25   
   ,000 jobs, AOC tweeted, ”Anything is possible: today was the day   
   a group of dedicated, every day New Yorkers & their neighbors   
   defeated Amazon’s corporate green, its worker exploitation, and   
   the power of the richest man in the world.”  AOC seems proud of   
   the fact that she denied her constituents the choice of applying   
   for these jobs: typical socialist behavior.   
      
   AOC sad, “Unemployment is low because everyone has two jobs.   
   Unemployment is low because people are working 60, 70, 80 hours   
   a week and can barely feed their family.” Politifact corrected   
   her outrageous claims. The average number of hours worked in the   
   private sector has been about 34.5 hours a week since 2006,   
   except for a recession dip. Less than 5% of the work force has   
   multiple jobs. And she’s an economics major from Boston   
   University? What does this say about Boston University?   
      
   “If we work our butts off to make sure that we take back all   
   three chambers of Congress – rather, all three chambers of   
   government: the presidency, the Senate, and the House,” AOC said   
   in a conference call to a political action committee. Hey, AOC,   
   the three branches, not chambers, of government are the   
   executive, legislative and judicial. And she’s a United States   
   Representative?   
      
   AOC predicted, “The world is going to end in 12 years if we   
   don’t address climate change, and your biggest issue is, your,   
   your biggest issue is how are we gonna pay for it?” Mike Adams,   
   the Health Ranger, observed that “AOC is a scientifically   
   illiterate fool who operates on the verge of mental   
   retardation.” That’s giving her too much credit.   
      
   “Stupid is as stupid does.”
