XPost: alt.fan.rush-limbaugh, sac.politics, alt.politics.democrats       XPost: misc.survivalism       From: up-yours-democrats@nytimes.com              Nearly 100 more Big Apple residents died from the coronavirus since Sunday       morning, raising the city’s death toll to 776, according to city data.              From 9:30 a.m. to 4:15 p.m., the city tallied 98 more deaths and 1,166       more coronavirus cases, meaning 33,474 people in the city have now been       infected with the illness.              Queens, in that time-frame, remained the hardest-hit borough with 10,737       cases.              Brooklyn has the second most cases at 8,887, followed by the Bronx at       6,250, Manhattan at 5,582 and Staten Island with 1,984.              Mayor de Blasio earlier Sunday warned the city will be in the throes of       the virus for quite some time to come.              “We will go through a really tough, tough journey,” the mayor said at a       press briefing.              “April will be worse than March, and I fear that May could even be worse       than April,” he said. “We’re going to be in for weeks of this.”              Gov. Cuomo on Sunday extended mandatory business closures until at least       April 15 to cope with the pandemic.              Several hours later, President Trump extended the federal social       distancing guidelines to April 30.              https://nypost.com/2020/03/29/98-people-in-nyc-died-from-coronavirus-in-       less-than-7-hours/              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
