I see them all over the place where I live and this is a very wealthy, elite
type
tourist town.
Since COVID, they figured out that overall they can make more real dollars not
working.
The Asians in NYC where I used to live figured this scam out years ago.
If you carefully watch the various businesses you will notice that
Fong's China Gold Restaurant will change it's signs to read something like
Fong China Gold Cafe or similar.
Same place.
Legally a different business.
And this happens over and over and over again.
By the time the authorities catch up with the first owner, the business
has changed hands 5 times already.
They are very smart.
They know how to work the system and from what I see where I live higher
income middle
class people have learned the same.
