   No, it's not.  If you fail to defend your trademark (or copyright), then   
   the courts will deem it "abandoned" and block you from enforcing it in   
   the future.  Most "trivial" cases end with the defendant paying a   
   nominal licensing fee, e.g. $1/yr, so the owner can show they "defended"   
   it and therefore don't lose the ability to enforce future legitimate cases.
