If you fail to defend your trademark (or copyright), then       the courts will deem it "abandoned" and block you from enforcing it in       the future. Most "trivial" cases end with the defendant paying a       nominal licensing fee, e.g. $1/yr, so the owner can show they "defended"       it and therefore don't lose the ability to enforce future legitimate cases.              S              --       Stephen Sprunk "God does not play dice." --Albert Einstein       CCIE #3723 "God is an inveterate gambler, and He throws the       K5SSS dice at every possible opportunity." --Stephen Hawking              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
