What I meant to ask if there was an       on-line screen available, not one in the stations. NJT and MNRR have on-line       screens.                     [As an aside, years ago, the LIRR actually did not have a central departure       board. On weekends, there was always a line at the info booth asking where to       board a train. With computers, they finally installed them. Indeed, they put       up a large system        above the ticket office, organized by station, so a passenger could know       instantly know about the next train for his desired station.]              [What gets fun is when a weekend NJT train boards on an LIRR track. NJT       passengers rush around looking for tracks 14-16, amidst unfamiliar signage.]              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
