   There was an L&O SVU episode where a judge was sending kids to a specific   
   juvee facility in which she had a special financial interest.  She was exposed   
   by a sting by the cops.  That was based on a very sad real life story where a   
   few judges in upstate    
   Pennsylvania were sending kids to places they had an interest in.  It was   
   particularly bad since they were sending kids with minor offenses, where the   
   kid should've gotten parole.
