   That never occurred to me! I assumed he had been taken *off* the train, but he   
   might have been knocked down in some other way. We passengers only got the   
   typical unintelligible announcements, but the eventual notice I received by   
   e-mail says "8 Av-bound    
   L trains are running with delays, due to an investigation at Myrtle Av" (not   
   "sick passenger").
