   NYC's low-floor buses still have the kneeling feature.   
      
   The annoying thing is they decided the bus has to emit a loud whistle, or honk   
   the horn continuously, whenever the bus is lowering or raising.  It's a major   
   nuisance for people who live near bus stops.  Other cities get by with a much   
   quieter beeping.
