   NJT touched on it a few years ago and found an enthusiastic public response,   
   but there is no money.  I'm sure CSX doesn't want it.   
      
   I was thinking that, for the emergency, NJT could've used its new dual-mode   
   locomotives to run a special service out of NY-Penn to either West Trenton or   
   all the way to Phila.  But that might have conflicted with CSX.   
      
   It seems the shuttle buses to West Trenton and the special SEPTA trains are   
   well patronized, though there is a considerable time penalty in making the   
   transfers.
