   What about people without cars, or people who commute from intermediate   
   stations to jobs in Trenton?   
      
   With the line split, I'm not sure if it would've been practical or possible to   
   run substitute shuttle trains.  Buses to/from Trenton to upper end stations,   
   yes.   
      
   Certainly, in this kind of situation, some passengers will be inconvenienced.
