   I went to Battery Park today. As the 1 waited (and waited and waited) to enter   
   the station, a 5 was turning around on the other track -- going in the same   
   direction (and signed "Last Stop"). It seemed terribly wrong -- but of course   
   it makes sense that it used that loop in the same direction as the City Hall   
   loop for turning from downtown to uptown.   
      
   Was it used counterclockwise when it was a station?
