The solid state inverters are reliable and       efficient, but generate lots of nasty harmonics. The rotary       converters do not and they swallow the harmonics the others       create.              So Jericho Park is solid state, but north of there are rotary ones.       --       A host is a host from coast to coast.................wb8foz@nrk.com       & no one will talk to a host that's close..........................       Unless the host (that isn't close).........................pob 1433       is busy, hung or dead....................................20915-1433              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
