   Sure, that's the claim. But I'll be damned if I can come up   
   with any valid physics reason why that should be true. (Modulo   
   issues with less efficiency as the motor changes its output   
   or if you're outside the "sweat spot" - which wouldn't   
   be a problem with electrical motors anyway)
