The express EZ Pass lanes help too.              I drive a hybrid, so I am currently paying only $6.25 off peak. As far       as I know, the PA gives discounts to all comers. The MTA does not. You       have to have a NY service center account to have the discount, and that       includes PA accounts. You have to have a NJ account for discounts on       the Turnpike, which I almost never use because of where I live. Nobody       gets discounts on the Parkway.              I usually park at Huguenot. There is a small park & ride lot there       which is fine on Sundays, but it is full by 7 AM during the week. When       you get off the Outerbridge, go straight onto that short highway, the       Korean Veterans Memorial Highway or something like that. Get off at the       first exit, Huguenot Ave. The service road takes you right to the       parking lot at about the third light.              I am thinking about trying out the new station, Arthur Kill (I think)       once it opens, but it looks like it will not be as easy for me to get to.              Michael Finfer       Bridgewater, NJ              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
