The express EZ Pass lanes help too.              I know some people who go into the city early on a Saturday or Sunday. They       drive all the way in. At that time it is easy to do so, easy to park, and       faster than the train. Obviously, convenience varies by specific destination       and departure time, but        sometimes driving all the way in can be a good method. (I once did it myself       and was surprised how easy it was, even to park.)                     > on NJ Transit from Raritan (I drive a hybrid).               When driving all the way in isn't practical, did you ever consider using       MetroPark station? I don't know about cost, but I suspect it might be faster       than SIRT and the ferry and subway (obviously depending on your destination).                     Sometimes I drive to Secaucus Jct and get NJT there. Saves me 15 minutes, plus       has more trains. But I don't know if that lot fills up on weekedays or game       days.              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
