I had a birthday party at one near the Bronx       Zoo; the last one was in Times Square, and it had all the old familiar menu       items (including the "28 flavors" which Baskin Robbins's "31 flavors" was       meant to outdo, the "tendersweet fried clams," and the "and-a-cookie" tipped       into the sundae).
