   Currently, it serves twice as many bus routes as it was designed for 60 years   
   ago. Larger articulated buses cannot navigate the tight turns on the ramps and   
   inside. Some of the gates are diagonal, so that buses need to back out for   
   departure, interfering with through traffic. There is nowhere to store the AM   
   rush   
   hour buses so they're ready for the return PM rush. Some of the concrete is   
   crumbling.   
      
   (Those are just from a WNYC story a couple weeks ago when the plan was
