   When I moved from Spuyten Duyvil to Jersey City in 2004, I hadn't been   
   redistricted   
   into Rangel's district; I was in Eliot Engel's. And my State Senator was the   
   redoubtable Eric Schneiderman.   
      
   In NJ I had Steve Bauman until the "non-partisan" redistricting commission   
   pitted two Democrats against each other when we lost one seat, but since 2010   
   I've had the utter nonentity Alberto Sires. I think he was the only congressman   
   who didn't participate in Brian Lehrer's series interviewing every senator and   
   representative in the tri-state area.
