   That's been a minority view ever since the Underground Map of the 1930s!   
      
   What's really pernicious is the map that _seems_ to imitate geography. I once   
   tried to walk from Forest Hills through Corona to the Queens Museum / Flushing   
   Meadows because they look close together on the subway map. They're not.
