I played an old tape from WNBC-AM radio.  I miss that old station.   
   Despite being a massive high power station, it had a down-home   
   friendly feel to it.  Some of the DJ's were down to earth, like   
   the late Robert Osborne.   
      
   In my early motor trips to Staten Island, my car had an AM radio,   
   and listening to WNBC was fun while driving.
