   It seems every conductor, railroad and transit, would have one or   
   two stations where they'd elongate a syllable of the station name.   
      
   Sadly, that human touch has been destroyed with computerized   
   automated announcements.  Why spending the money to record, store,   
   and playback station announcements, a rather easy task for the   
   conductor to do, is beyond me.   
      
   Further, some trains have the announcement out of sync, where   
   the actually say the wrong station, or even the wrong branch.
