Instead they tacked       on a 30-second postlude with S. Epatha Merkerson (now the "lieutenant" on       *Chicago Med*) getting a phone call that her breast cancer was in remission.              Det. Goren simply writhed into future cases. (I don't remember Catherine Erbe's       character's name.) Neither of them has turned up on any of the (currently four)       interlinked Chicago series. (They're far less respectful of Chicago geography       than they were/are of NYC geography in the L&O series.) The lead ADA in       *Chicago       Justice* is the son of ADA Stone from the first season(s?) of L&O -- I keep       expecting a very superannuated Michael Moriarty to turn up in a cameo. (Twice       the guest cast has included Tim Kazurinsky, who was an SNL regular in the       earliest days, but I haven't identified anyone who could be he.)              Ooh, I just googled Moriarty and the first batch of hits isn't his Wiki bio but       a host of *Hollywood Reporter* stories about potential crossovers. Could they       even be thinking of getting Sam Waterson as well?              > Speaking of L&O, ABC made a new Dirty Dancing. I saw the promos and intended to give it a try.              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
