   d'Onofrio was for many years (and may still be) a contributing member   
   of the New York Transit Museum.   
      
   Drifting a bit, how did his character end up when L&O C.I. ended?   
      
   Speaking of L&O, ABC made a new Dirty Dancing.  The original father   
   was played by the L&O's Jerry Orbach, who did a great job.  The   
   remake was so-so, despite having some major names in it.
