   Despite Amtrak having record ridership and excellent cost control,   
   you can expect the Trump Administration to seek an excuse to kill it.

   Going back many years ago, the PRR originated long distance trains   
   at Exchange Place.  After Pennsylvania Station opened, they gradually   
   shifted operations uptown.   
      
   Eventually the PRR abandoned its ferry to Exchange Place as well as   
   the terminal itself.
