   What does that show other than what is wrong with everything involving   
   the MTA.  The total program is over 1,000,000,000 for about 40 stations   
   out of 400+, and so as a result o critism they propone only 100 million   
   dollars of it and the driving force is an insane plan to put elevators   
   in the way of traffic because a special interest group is hounding them.   
      
   Meanwhile the Herald square station really is a disaster and needs not   
   only renovation, but the remove off the homeless shelter that has taken   
   permanent place there.   
      
   It wouldn't be bad if they opened up the 42nd street tunnel again.   
      
   Yeah - all they need is more money ... NOT.
