Further,       Wikipedia is harder to access since they now refuse access to       users with older browsers.              Seems strange to me that PC software becomes obsolete so fast since,       after all, it has no moving parts. I have mainframe programs 35       years old running just fine every day. I have a 20 y/o automobile       that runs well, despite being a mechanical device, subject to all       the jolts and bumps of moving at 60 mph and the heat and wear of       a piston gasoline engine. Sure seems to me that if a mechanical       automobile can last for 20 years (or more), a piece of PC software       ought to do likewise.              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
