Backdrops were taken from a multitude       of places.                     > Is there any other video footage of them that anybody can recommend?       > Alternatively, are there any other photos of either the interior or the cab?              I don't know if home video existed when they were in service. But       some folks may have taken home movies, which might be on YouTube       or DVD. Note the quality may be lousy. 8 mm isn't a good medium.       Ironically, though, Kodak still sells 8mm film.              A few photographers took 16 mm films which are usually of decent       quality.              Search google.              > That model was one of the predecessors to the M2, though it had a       > relatively short service life of 20 years.       >       > I myself took a trip on a Washboard in the early 1980s, when they were       > relegated to the New Canaan Branch. They were retired       and nobody seemed to miss them.              I can only speculate: the New Haven was going through a rough       time and perhaps they had to cut costs on car building, resulting       in a poor car.              Phila had a Mkt-Fkd fleet delivered in 1960. I always thought       they rode like crap. I was told that they were built on the       cheap to save money.              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
