The subway system ran an "EE" train as a local that started
at Continental Ave (Forest Hills, Queens) alongside the express
"E" and "F" trains towards Manhattan. It veered off after
Queens Plaza and took the alternate route into THe City,
using the (then generally called) BMT trackage.

I hear there's another EE still hanging
around, although he lives way out west
   these days... (hi, Phil).
