   I had to go up to Columbia today, so I took the M42 from PABT to Grand Central    
   to shop at the Transit Museum Store (they're between exhibits at the moment).   
      
   The "All-Electric!" M42 bus had new livery, dark blue with dark yellow   
   accents,    
   so from the front it looked like an SBS except that the destination sign   
   wasn't    
   flashing in pink/purple (and it wasn't an artic). None of the westbound M42s    
   that we passed were dark blue.   
      
   Then, using my transfer to get on the subway, at least one, probably both, of    
   the Shuttle's middle cars had seats only at the ends, so as to accommodate    
   many more "customers" at rush hours. And the train on the other track had    
   artwork on the sides -- I couldn't tell as we passed in the night whether    
   it was advertising or décor.
