   The PCC cars originally had a lot of bugs.  For instance, they   
   had a new suspension that rode horribly on certain kinds of track.   
   Later, they used sealed windows and fans that was grossly   
   uncomfortable.

   While many properties bought the PCC, not everyone liked it.   
      
   Some properties used a PCC subway car.  But many properties   
   didn't and subway cars, then and now, never got standardized.   
   Likewise with commuter rail MU cars.
