According to Peter T. Daniels :
   >> The one at EWR isn't too bad. Whatever fare it charges is hidden in
   >> the tickets for the NJT and Amtrak trains it connects to.
   >
   >From Jersey City I would have to take (a bus and) three trains (PATH
   >to Newark, NJT to Airport, and Airtrain, No thanks! Alternatively,
   >(local bus down to Hoboken Terminal,) NJT to Secaucus, change
   >to NJT, and Airtrain.

I'd take PATH to Newark Penn and the #62 bus but, yeah, it's not
designed for people in Jersey City. My relatives live near Princeton
and the airtrain to NJT train is fine. It also doesn't help that
the brand new Terminal A won't have an airtrain station until they
rebuild the airtrain which will take a while, since they just took
   bids last month.

   >What sort of provision does the new LGA terminal have? (That
   >was what I always used when traveling between Chicago and
   >Spuyten Duyvil (I try to avoid saying Riverdale).

Hey, my father grew up in Riverdale. When his parents built the house,
   the street wasn't even paved.

At this point from LGA there is the Q70 SBS to Jackson Heights 7/E/F,
or the M60 SBS to the Astoria Blvd N/W or across the Triboro to any of
the subway and train stations on 125th St. It's not great.
