   NJT's locos can go 125 MPH under catenary, and at least part of the NE   
   corridor between New Brunswick and Trenton used to have Metroliners   
   going that fast. Now its 100 max and usually 80.   
      
   On the other hand, last year I took the train from Strasbourg to Paris, it   
   ran between 300 and 320 kph, and my coffee did not slosh.
