   It took an inordinate length of time for a data site to appear, and    
   I'd already left the newsgroup, but that was the figure it showed.    
   It may indicate the increase in population that was largely driven    
   by immigration of people who don't have cars, since the 51% I saw    
   long ago.   
      
   The same search responded much more quickly just now -- and    
   I cannot find the site that had the detailed breakdown by borough,    
   income, etc. (The link would be purple instead of blue!) It did yield    
   some headlines that car ownership soared during covid.
