   I don't have a source, but even if I did, it would be grossly out of date.   
   I recall reading, that when the one-way toll across the major bridges   
   and tunnels was $2.00, the portion of the toll allocated to the tolled   
   facility was $0.35, and mass transit got $1.65.   
      
   I don't beleive mass transit can fund itself on the farebox alone.  The fare   
   would be so high that it would drive (no pun intended) riders away, and   
   make driving more appealing, traffic and parking challenges and all.
