From: dsbarr@mindspring.com              In recent years (after giving up on the       Greyhound/Peter Pan buses first during       Covid and then when they closed the 10th       Street bus station) I've moved to the       NJT NYC>Trenton/SEPTA Trenton>Philly       route rather than the more expensive       (and more distant from my Philly       destinations) Amtrak I had used in the       previous century before switching to the       cheaper and closer bus. I haven't noticed       them coordinating schedules; in fact       connections seem to be either very tight       (and easily missed if the first train is       late, especially as one has to run up the       stairs from one track and over and down       to another at the opposite end of the       station) or rather gapped, although that       does depend on when one is traveling and       the frequency of each train. If this       route goes (or even if just the particular       runs I need to use to make my hospital       appointments are cut) it's back to the       drawing board (or Amtrak).                     On 9/1/2025 8:35 AM, danny burstein wrote:       > In <109436u$sm$1@gal.iecc.com> John Levine |
