|    Who Murdered the Electric Car?    |
|    12 Oct 06 03:31:24    |
XPost: can.politics, ont.politics, tor.general       XPost: bc.politics              Who killed the electric car -- a crime of mammoth proportions with       consequences for our environment.              Electric cars produce zero emissions and therefore don't contribute to       the global warming disaster. They were a key invention in dealing       with global warming. Yet they have disappeared from the market       place.              Who killed the electric car especially since as well as being so       environmentally friendly it was such a winner for consumers.              Since the electric car has no engine it saves the driver the cost of       replacing parts, motor oil, filters and spark plugs. Wear and tear       of braking systems are absolutely minimal. Yet , the electric car is       dead. Automakers seem to have written it off.              The answer to who killed the car is obviously greed and the following       article will elaborate somewhat:              http://www.buzzflash.com/store/reviews/366              Penny              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
